Services
It takes plenty of knowledge, experience and expertise to build a unique architecturally designed home.
During the last three decades, Precision Projects has carved a niche in structurally complex construction.
Precision Projects manages the construction of architecturally designed houses, townhouses, apartment complexes and commercial properties.
A unique point of difference is that Precision Projects has the expertise to build complex basements and suspended slabs, which are often central foundations to contemporary architectural designs.
A day in the life of Precision Projects involves client liaison, design consultation, permit applications, client meetings, competitive tenders, project management, contractor management and/or onsite management.
Construction
Precision Projects’ core business is in construction and building. We manage the time frames and teams associated with complex builds, while ensuring we have all the minute details covered for every aspect of the build.
Having a Commercial Builder Limited (CBL) licence means we have the credentials and authority to build up to 14 metres (4 storeys) in commercial zones.
We make the architect’s vision a reality and have the knowledge and experience to build complex structures ranging from basements to suspended slabs. This involves detailed knowledge and hands on understanding of the workings of earthmoving machines, steel fixes, drilling rigs, shotcreeting and suspended formwork, just to name a few. We receive consistent feedback from architects and clients that we can build the things others simply cannot.
We are experienced in advising clients developing medium density residential constructions, including dual townhouses, apartment complexes, multi unit dwellings and shops.
Every project is assigned an experienced full-time and onsite foreman to manage the build. Jerome Coutts supervises the development on a daily basis and is the main client liaison.
Design
At Precision Projects, we enjoy collaborating with creative consultants ranging from architects to draftsmen, interior designers, engineers and town planners.
We welcome the opportunity to work with a client’s existing architect and also offer an in house design service where we can utilise the knowledge and experience of some of Melbourne’s leading architects. We can recommend architects that are best suited to a client’s style, vision and budget, and whom we have built projects with previously.
Architects often refer Precision Projects’ work as a preferred and recommended builder, which is testament to our deep understanding of the home design process and plans. Our experience on the ground offers a fresh and trusted perspective amongst the design teams.
Planning
A solid understanding of town planning and building permits is vital to the construction of an architecturally designed property as this can significantly impact time frames, budgets and project management.
Precision Projects has vast experience in helping clients and design teams navigate complex plans for approval by councils and various authority bodies. We highly encourage potential clients to meet during early stages of planning in order to create the most efficient results.
Interiors
Interior design can transform a property from good to great. Professionally designed interiors can make all the difference in creating a space that feels wonderful to live in and can also significantly increase sales value.
Precision Projects has extensive experience in interior design and decorating. We can match our clients with a designer that best suits their style, personality, vision and budget.
Process
At Precision Projects, Jerome Coutts has developed a client centred and seamless process that ensures the build is a positive and rewarding experience for clients from beginning to end.
It is important for Precision Projects to establish a positive working relationship with clients and designers from the outset; especially given the average build time is around 12-18 months.
We firmly believe that a good working relationship creates the best results. We ensure the client is informed every step of the way and this occurs via client meetings, documentation and regular conversations. While some clients want a bird’s eye view of the project and others want to know intricate details of the build, we can scale the communication to the needs of the client.
